Carano Italy

Carano was an Italian town of 1 079 inhabitants in the autonomous province of Trento, located in the Val di Fiemme. On 1 January 2020 it merged with the municipalities of Daiano and Varena in the new municipality of Ville di Fiemme. Carano is a typical alpine settlement arranged on a terrace in a dominant position, overlooking the Lagorai chain and the Pale di San Martino. The Rio Val Valley, also called Val d'Osta, divides the town into two parts: the Villa, which is the main and highest agglomeration (1120 m), and Radòe, where the church stands (1086 m) .
