Day 2: Ribeiro Frio / Portela
This hike runs along one of the most beautiful levadas of the island, bordered by abundant vegetation through the Madeira Forest: The Laurisilva.
Panoramic views of Porto da Cruz and the spectacular rock mass, the Penha de Águia, with the ocean as a backdrop, await you.
Medium level:12km – 04h30 trek walk- One day.
Day 3: Queimadas / Caldeirão Verde
This hike is located in the heart of the Lauraceae forest and is one of the most spectacular on the island. Its remains of a subtropical laurel forest, tree heather, ferns, and Madeira's bugloss.
The arrival at the Cauldron Vert is superb!
The water rushes in a cascade along the steep slope and forms a small lake with icy waters at the end of its fall.

Day 4: Prazeres / Ponta Do Pargo
This easy hike will make you discover beautiful landscapes: forests, valleys and panoramic coast views make this Levada a promenade full of contrasts in a calm region that conceals botanical treasures.

Day 5: Pico Areeiro / Pico Ruivo
This route connects the two highest peaks of Madeira Island, Pico do Areeiro (1817m) and Pico Ruivo (1862m).
Steep paths, tunnels and belvederes offer exceptional views of the heart of the Massif Central.
Along the way, several caves are cut in volcanic tuffs, and massive walls with red, brown, and black rocks plunge into the abysses.
This hike is a real challenge for adventurers!
Hard level:10km – 05h00 trek walk –One day.
Day 6: Assobiadores / Fanal
Beginning at Assobiadores, this trek passes by the Laurisilva on the island's north side.
The volcanic rocks of Fanal and the laurel forests, some of which date from a time before the discovery of the island, do not fail to surprise.
A magical place, which inspires the imagination and exudes serenity.
