El Quseir Egypt

El Quseir is a small harbor town on the coast of the Red Sea with great history: the beginnings of the city can be retraced back to the "Old Kingdom" (3000 years BC). As the city connects the Nile Valley with the Red Sea on the shortest route, it was an important commercial hub and port in the history of Egypt. The tourist centers are located outside the city in the tourist resorts of Safaga and Port Ghalib, which remains the old town rather untouched by mass tourism.
